It’s an interesting proposition..
First you saw the ads on TV, beautiful women falling to Earth in search of ‘the One’ – a man wearing Lynx deodorant. Lynx has now moved to the next stage in its campaign in a rather long, but disruptive Facebook execution that will certainly make you look twice. It culminates with your picture appearing in Kelly Brook’s arms as she fondles it and writhes all over the white bed sheets, naked.
Lynx are the latest brand to capitalise on a cost-effective yet simple use of Flash and Facebook Share and Connect – this time creating the illusion you are ‘the One’ the angels have been searching for. Will it get you buying to deodorant? Not sure. Will it cause a few young men to play it over and over and choose different ‘outfits’ for Kelly to wear – while hidden in their bedroom…I think so!
